Professor of Research Methodologies in Education @ VCU, focusing on quantitative methodologies, critical quantitative methods, and queer and trans studies.

For all the hand wringing on the left about trans rights being difficult for democrat candidates, last night should be a lesson. The rep VA governor candidate ran on an anti trans platform (with constant and vile TV and radio ads) and lost in a landslide.

Reminder - Next month, we'll host @kevinguyan.bsky.social at VCU for a virtual session! This is free and open to anyone to attend, but registration is required: vcu.zoom.us/meeting/regi...

My tip as an editor for reviewers: If I've asked you to review a revision, all I really want is to know if you feel your prior comments have been addressed. You likely don't need a second extremely close read. This is also not the moment to raise new issues (unless the revision introduced them).

We are looking for new Associate Editors (who handle manuscripts and assign reviewers) and Consulting Editors (who review manuscripts) for JQTSIE! Please consider applying for these roles to help us keep up the pace and rigor of the journal!
