I tend to feel more distant and make distinction between online acquaintance vs irl friends. I guess I don't want to mix my online life with irl too. My family would do backflip if they knew what I've been drawing, even if it was something innocuous/SFW. never trust normies with shit
sometimes I wish I could be a bit more "hip" of an artist. I saw artist with tons of friends/associates, streamer and vtuber, or even a stable job, and is super good at their craft, have massive vgen loyalty and other things.... I just can't be that kind of artist, I always fumble badly
it's super cringefunnycringe when my account on twatter nearly got banned and flagged due to "inauthentic behavior" (whatever that means), and some """mature"""" content (which was pretty tame/vanilla compared to buncha other stuff) but stalkers and harassment tweets manages to scot free

Reminds me of my country's own "wibroh" (trad weebcels) epidemic. Like sure, when pitted with yt people, they're technically a "oppressed" of some sort. But they're just so fucking vile, spouting the most vilest shit, it makes me extremely disgusted, not caring about their background.
