Mohammd Reza Shah (King of Iran, 1941-1979) was destituted during a revolution and died in exile (1980). His succesor was Ruhollah Khomeini (Religious dictator 1979-89) who died of a natural death in his country (the second exception after Mozaffareddin Shah). 3/4

The last Shah of Qajar dynasty, Ahmad Shah (King of Persia 1909-1925) was destituted by Reza Pahlavi and died in exile (1930). Reza Shah (King of Persia-Iran, 1925-1941), the first Pahlavi king was destituted in 1941 and died in exile (1944). 2/4

Nasseraddin Shah (King of Persia 1848-96) was assassinated in 1896. His son Mozaffereddin Shah (King of Persia 1896-1907) had a peaceful life and death. His son, Mohammd-Ali Shah (King of Persia 1907-1909) was destituted follwing the constitutional revolution and died in exile (1925) 1/4.
