This fandom has gotten too used to spilling "digital blood". Accountability and transparency is good, however, the environment created from such has become too rigid to the point where even a small fuck up will get a mob after you. ESPECIALLY any sort of creator.
Furries that have committed actual crimes have gotten less doxxing/death threats than the creators of the Druffle avatar have... Were there some mess ups on their part? For sure. Doxx/death threats though? Not at all deserved.

Did get a phone call today that gives me confidence in the auto techs/mechanics that work on my main vehicle. "Hey, I ordered a part for your car because I didn't feel confident putting this back in as it looked corroded. No charge to you, I just didn't feel good using that part" 👍👍

I don't like losing a fair amount of money all at once, but that's what my emergency fund is for. While I of course despise seeing the money leave, I can have it replaced by year's end. Car repair bill plus a vet bill all at once? No problem! Past me prepared for this, which has comforted me ^^
