Meet Holeffigy, the game's newest playable monster! Its powerful signature move, Immolate, deals massive damage and can ignite enemies, but watch out, it cuts your own HP by 10% whenever you use it! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I'm making Myth Caller: the Nightmare Shaman, a 90's-style platformer mixed with a monster taming RPG! Doesn't that steam wishlist button look mighty tempting on this fine wishlist wednesday? #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

The intro to my favorite boss battle so far is done! Stelia is one of the representatives of the mock Goddess Breaker Championship- and she can fight with several monsters at once! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

FINALLY! AAAHAHA LOOK AT IT, IT'S BEAUTIFUL! Yeah, I know the game looks the same as it did before, but now it's on a new unity version, and all the memory leaks are fixed! I'M FREEEEEEE! One step closer to being on consoles! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I've been PAINSTAKINGLY redoing the way sprites are loaded to fix a potential memory leak issue, so I'm showing you guys Colmillion again because this thing was a pain to load in the new system XD it comes in so many different colors #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Gamedev is funny sometimes because you'll spend 4 days wrecking yourself to update the game's engine version and fix super difficult memory management problems- ...and the game will look literally the same and people will assume you did nothing lmao #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

The animations for the library/bestiary are done! I'm really proud of the book flipping animation specifically- it took FOREVER, but it's so worth it! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Oh hey, the best time of the year is rolling around again! There miiight just be a new Myth Caller trailer in this year's Monster Taming Direct! It's airing this saturday on youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VE_P...

I updated the system for giving names to your monsters! It looks cleaner now and should work with most controllers, keyboards, mice, etc. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I finished my monster taming direct submission, and now my brain has both the consistency and function of deep-fried scrambled eggs. Sooo, I REALLY don't feel like editing anything complex now, so just look at one of my random favorite monsters lmao #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

More accessibility features! You can slow down the overall speed of the gameplay in case your reflexes aren't the best anymore. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I redid the shading on Shiisinge, and with that, all 3 starters have had their shading redrawn! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

There are a bunch of accessibility options in Myth Caller! Here is a look at 2 of them: an option to makes attacks more visible, and another option that shows where enemy attacks are coming from! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I probably won't be showing a lot of new stuff on social media until the end of the month because I'm preparing to record my trailer for this year's monster tamer direct! Whether or not we get chosen to be in the direct again, you'll be getting a new trailer soon! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

You know the little markers showing you the name of the area you just entered? The 2D areas have a different animation on those markers! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I made Molord's moveset! He's the first fully playable boss monster. He can roll around in stone form, or launch rocky spears that explode into shards that linger on the field! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

You can find recipes for special fusion monsters out in the overworld! You don't need to have the recipes to fuse the special monsters on them, so when you replay the game, you can get some powerful monsters early! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

It's Wishlist Wednesday again! Myth Caller: The Nightmare Shaman is a 3D platformer fused with a Monster-Taming game! You can wishlist it on Steam now, or wait for it to come out on consoles! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I made a new section of the water dungeon, Aquillis! There are a few puzzles in this level, like this ~mysterious door~ with 4 buttons on it! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I made a 3D version of Conduction Current, one of the attacks from Xander the Monster Morpher! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I'm making Myth Caller: The Nightmare Shaman, a collectathon platformer fused with a monster-taming RPG! Doesn't that wishlist button look mighty tempting on thie fine Wishlist Wednesday? #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

There are a lot of little side areas in each map, like these sea caves in the Decayed Bay! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Watch where you swim in Aquillis- there are strong water currents that prevent you from swimming back the way you came! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I redid the way Slimire is shaded and AAAAAAAAA I LOVE HIM SO MUCH NOW! Look at how much the lighting POPS off of the darker part of its body! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Sad that you can only pick one starter? Don't worry about it! You can get all 3 starters with fusion! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I added a little golden aura effect when you level up one of your monsters! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

It's Wishlist Wednesday again! Myth Caller: The Nightmare Shaman is a 90's-Style Platformer fused with a Monster-Taming RPG! Why not wishlist it on Steam or wait for it to come out on consoles? #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart
