OK, my initial thoughts on the @bsky.app #iPad #beta: I love (1) the app can fill the screen; and (2) actual left-side menus. On the other hand, (3) right-side items don't show up anywhere; (4) the text also seems tiny, even adjusted; and (5) there's a lot of empty space. But it is a good start!

Also new in today’s v1.136 update: iPad support! One of our most-requested features is finally here in beta. Try out the Bluesky app on your iPad, and if you see anything off, let us know under Settings > Beta features.

Does anyone know how to set up a Bluesky #labeler? Extra points if it can be done free or really really cheap. I have an idea for one, but from what I've read, I can't believe how complicated and potentially expensive it is! Any thoughts appreciated so much!

I have just discovered that I am on five blocklists: * "AI Haters" - oversimplistic, but largely correct * "Doomers" - true once or twice while MH was bad * "Party Poopers" - whose party exactly? * "MySpecialFriends" - ??? * "People who have blocked me" (in Japanese) - OK Is this an achievement?

you can't be serious. This reads Meta/Facebook/Insta is looking to grant itself the rights to scrape websites across the open web - and train Meta's AI - if a company after Oct 30, 2026 uses Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or other Meta services. So every biz. Read that again. Outrageous. 1/5

LA friends, this may sound like a silly question, but I am serious: Why do you have a team named "Dodgers"? What exactly are they dodging? The baseball? Sportsball team names rarely make sense to me, but usually they're supposed to be inspiring in some way, aren't they? This one just seems weird.

People keep asking how bad of a thing you would have to do to get canned by this regime. There is no depth of corruption that could do it. No act so despicable as to force their hand. There is exactly one thing: get caught. That makes The Mad King look bad, and that isn’t allowed.

If news outlets charge for a story, that is their right. If I don't want to or can't pay, I simply don't. And "gift articles" where you have to register to read them - if I don't want to, I just move on. But I REALLY wish I remembered that so I wouldn't click on them every stupid time. 🤦‍♀️ Sigh.

TWO DAYS TO GO. I have to start this goal over after Amazon took my money. I am trying to avoid having my car repossessed again. I am currently living in my car. Anything helps, even reposting! Car loan- $200 by 10/13 PP, Venmo, CA- ladyasterianox

So apparently this regime is determined to join North Korea, Iran, Afghanistan, and other countries that perform public executions for the sheer spectacle and entertainment of it. There are bridges you don’t come back from when you cross them as a culture.

Sometime, you have to do the right thing even when it hurts, even when it turns people against you. Ari is a real leader in every sense. ODP "Pride", when you turn on an increasingly shunned and vulnerable part of your constituency, how dare you expect blind loyalty from them. Lives are at stake.

Today, I resigned as Vice Chair of the ODP Pride Caucus. The state party expects us to be a sales team, censoring our voices when we beg candidates not to trade on trans lives. I am still a Democrat, but I will not value party approval over true, defiant advocacy. Full text below. 👇

Part 1 of an open letter of resignation by Arienne Childrey, stepping down as Vice Chair and member of the Ohio Democratic Party (ODP) Pride Caucus. She states that party leadership treats the caucus as a recruitment and sales team rather than a representative body. She cites an incident where the ODP censored and denied permission for the caucus to post a letter by two trans leaders addressing harmful comments made by Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton. The State Party Chair reportedly called the letter an "unwelcome distraction," which Childrey notes demonstrates how little party leadership values the voices and dignity of LGBTQ+ Democrats.

My genuine best advice for anyone who wants a window into a specific school’s sexual violence response is to ask if they have an ATIXA membership. ATIXA is a consulting group that sells a lot of schools their sexual violence materials.

I have to point this out: Jews ≠ Israelis ≠ Netanyahu regime Arabs ≠ Muslims ≠ Palestinians ≠ Hamas (In case of font problems, ≠ is "not equal".) The ones causing the problems are the Netanyahu regime and Hamas. Please direct your anger at them and leave the people to live their lives.
