Biophobia: a dislike, fear or dread of nature, natural environments, wild animals, or wide-open natural ecosystems This city boy just got back from the woods of Western Massachusetts. Don’t know if it’s trees that unnerve me or just the possibility of Jason Voorhees suddenly popping out with an axe

Hip deep in inking my latest comic: a last part/afterword to my IN THE CITY story. 20+pgs inked for a 60+pg comic. Won’t be done for SPX or LICAF in Sept/Oct, so I may do a B&W preview for those shows. The comic should be colored, printed, and ready for Thought Bubble in November. Cross fingers.

Oola is only allowed on the porch with supervision. Since it’s been so hot, she prefers the shade underneath a low table. Recently, I could no longer see her. A sudden panic that she had escaped. When I looked closer, a pair of yellow green eyes in the shadows stared back from an empty flowerpot .

Just dropped off a stack of prints to restock Abstract Denver’s shops, including brand new prints of the Blucifer vs E Colfax illustration that I recently did for the next Colfax Carousal event (happening on Saturday 9/19) as well as the Chaos on E Colfax illustration recently done for the Westword
