They/She/He | 24 | Digital artist and streamer - Currently on a long stream hiatus due to hand injuries. Proud corgi owner of Moomoo and Molly 💖✨️ Very tired and very silly / PMD fanatic
Went to my doctor's appointment. Was just told to do more hand exercises despite trying this twice in the past 2 years. I'm losing hope for the mystery injury in my hands. I'm also getting a referral to a gastroenterologist, cause I'm having too many stomach problems. I'm so tired.
A part of me hopes to find something physically wrong with me. I'm tired of hurting without having any answers as to why.
Reminder: Self-care is important. Burnout will fuck you up if you are not careful. Don't ignore your needs and well-being. Burnout will swing a bat for your kneecaps, regardless of whatever is stressing you out.
AND artists who don't draw from reference or can just sketch stuff out, can do it because they've built a mental library of You guessed it Reference
LaurenWalshArt@laurenwalshart.bsky.social · 6d agoUse reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.
