A massive ginger cat (like a Maine Coon ) comes and sits on the path and stares at Marv every evening. Marv just skips about chasing grasshoppers, (we have the garden sectioned off and catproofed ) it’s about 4 times the size of my little pin head. I don’t think they know what to make of him 😂

I bought my OH a pizza oven for his 60th ( gas ) we’ve just had to renew the gas bottle. He’s just brung it through to the garden and said “ I’ll be 70 when we have to get another one of these “ 😂😂❤️

I have been influenced ( I am very easily) by TikTok and bought some of the Korean skincare, after seeing before and afters etc. And well ! First picture is beginning of June, next one is yesterday after about a month of using, no make up or filter

So glad for my kindle in this hot weather cos it means I can keep the curtains closed and still read 🥵

First day of my week off started with my partner taking an unexpected day off and deciding to go balls out on cleaning and organising ( which wasn’t in my plans ) so I let him crack on, mumbling and grumbling. It created some jobs for me obviously, as he can’t complete the task by himself 😡

Awful stagnant smell in the kitchen, those tiny flies started bothering us. Thought we had had leak from the washing machine, cleaned the filter, put a clean through and were preparing to pull everything out and investigate. Turns out, we had a bag of gone off potatoes at the back of the cupboard 🤢

Am having a lovely Sunday. Lasagne in the oven, wine opened and a week off work 💫💕🍷

Unfortunately the Headon Warren has been on fire and that beautiful view has been ruined. We walked over there all my life 🥲

It was my uncle bobs funeral this week. Some years ago we took this and I said, oh that’s a great photo to have on the back of your order of service lol, and he said yes, I want that, remember that and my cousin did. It is taken on the Headon Warren on the Isle of Wight, our home from home ❤️

Thinking about my uncle Bob today a song came into my head.So I decided I’d listen to The Beatles while I’m doing my stuff. Bear in mind I have every single Beatles album in my music library, I put in artist, The Beatles, put it on shuffle and guess which song started playing immediately 😭 ❤️

I just watched that celebrity home thing and that house was fuckin horrible.

Had a nice relaxing Sunday, reading relaxing and even had a nap following a late night watching the football. Tonight we dine on roast chicken ( cooked in the outside oven ) and have Traitors US for our viewing pleasure 💕💫🍷

Hello everyone, I’ve been here suffering in the heat. My bedroom has been at a balmy 36 degrees ! Cold showers wet towels and fans have been deployed. Thankful today is a bit breezy and cooler. Marvin has gone 3 shades darker, working on his tan. My best heatwave purchase, freezer slippers 😂

He’s come indoors 😂

We have had a little pop up tent in the garden for Marv to relax in out of the sun. He went in there this morning right before a ferocious gust of wind ( it is tethered ) shook it about. I don’t know if he will set foot in it again after that 😂

Happy Fathers Day. My dad was immense ❤️

My uncle died ,my dad’s younger brother. He was who I would have walk me down the aisle after my dad died . He would have been my phone a friend on Millionaire. We loved reminiscing,remembered things nobody else did. He told me about my dad, my grandparents, our family history. That’s all gone now 💔

I have a week off and I am having the best time. Deep cleaning the house at my own pace ordered myself some lovely little treats (loungewear, skincare) gorgeous dinners, lots of World Cup watching, lots of reading and relaxing, it’s bliss. Currently enjoying Ronaldo not being able to score 🍷💫💕
