pleasantly surprised with how Chief of War has shown the Pacific World so far. Really expected them to gloss over Ka'iana's time with the trading ship — instead we're getting treated to a full look at just how wide and interconnected it was! Jumping from Alaska to the Philippines in one episode.

Abolitionist and woman suffragist Lucy Stone came through Louisville in 1853 as part of a lecture tour of MO, IN and WV. In her Bloomer costume, Stone gave three speeches, with thousands packing the halls each night. Orators in the suffrage movement bragged of a good event as "a Kentucky welcome."
