Me: ::Clicks on "Remember my device":: Narrator: "It was clear, as in all of the other instance before, that the website was - in fact - not going to remember her device."

I got to fly to TX over the weekend to see Ben Folds perform with one of my best friends. He is still my favorite and I was definitely crying at several points. It's so amazing to hear such a breadth of music -- it was his own "theme and variations" on his songs which was absolutely incredible.

Why is the quality of phone hold music so bad? You'd think with technological advances it wouldn't sound tinny, robotic, like I'm underwater, and have inconsistent volumes. 🧐

Today's the day! I'm updating a project for work from Node v. 18 to the latest stable version and then updating each dependency individually and testing to see if anything breaks!

Him: Would you like to go out for dinner for our anniversary? Me: Yes, where would you like to go? Him: Well, we could go to IHOP - the kids would like it. Me: Have you heard of Dee-vor-chay? Him: Ooh that sounds interesting - is it Brazilian?

I'm upgrading a site from the Next.js pages router to the app router and switching files from JS to TS.... Currently playing whack-a-mole with random linting errors.

I had a blast last night at the live taping of "Syntax" in Denver! I got to meet @wesbos.com, Scott, and CJ and network with a lot of other people at the event! It was so much fun. My favorite part was watching them do the CSS battle.

A group of people sit in chairs facing a small stage with a projector screen showing a blue background with a white circle and small red mountain shapes that Wes, Scott, and CJ were working to recreate with CSS. Scott sits at a laptop while CJ stands pointing at the projector screen explaining and Wes stands behind him.

I am not a fan of Google opening links within Gmail and then when trying to login to that website they send a code to my email but if I go back to my email, I start the loop all over again. Anyone know if you can default Gmail to open links in the browser instead?

I got to build a micro React project that will be embedded in a Squarespace site - that was cool :) Also, didn't know that was possible! I've embedded a web page before but not a separate app.
