Like all good origin stories mine was at the library. I'd go there every day after school and had read everything off the shelves that looked "cool" to a tomboy seventh grader. When I wandered into the graphic novels and spotted the matching spines of Batman No Man's Land... it was off to the races!

Just finished Ram V and Evan Cagle's "Dawnrunner." A beautiful read, especially when it seems like the horrors beyond your own walls require a ten-storey mech to even begin to fight, and a wonderful reminder that all those fights begin from within. Cagle definitely impresses, as does the whole team.
