Allison Gill@muellershewrote.com · 4mo agoI just want to point out that the WHCD took place in a ballroom. Holding it in a different ballroom wouldn’t make it safer. The administration chose not to designate the WHCD as a “National Special Security Event.” That’s the difference.

Leaders last night experienced what it feels like to be a student in school dealing with an active shooter. Unfortunately, the current occupant of the White House is delivering the wrong message from last night. We don't need a ballroom sales job. We need a determination to end gun violence.
Note that there's been no threat to sue over this statement. I know I would be suing for tens of millions if I was innocent.
