Do current publishing and carreer assessment practices limit scientific progress? Journals basically evaluate your recent citation numbers when you ausbmit to the editorial board... HOWEVER: novel research areas have low number of participants and publications -> low number of citations

It’s out :) you thought it was weird for DNA to be 1% in a Hoogsteen base pair instead of a Watson-Crick-Franklin one? Well there is more:
