Let's not pretend that gas hasn't jumped in price since April of 2025. The average gas price around Philadelphia has been just under $4 for the last month or so - and I think people can buy the gas without buying the propaganda.

The White House touted $3.47/gallon at a Philly station as proof Trump's lowering gas prices, but the same station was selling gas for $3.05 back in April 2025. They're celebrating a price hike.

My neighbor - while my dog was completely calm standing on the sidewalk near our apartment - told me I shouldn't have a dog that can't be around people. Piper has never even barked at this man. And even if she couldn't be around people, it is too late to give me that unsolicited advice.
All of the clothes I want to buy are only made for children. Which begs the question, who is buying their children whimsical office wear?

It should make NYers uneasy that the NYPD is so comfortable arresting students. It's all the more reason NOT to pass Intro 929, which would invite similar situations as students deal with a heightened police presence at school. Kids shouldn't feel like criminals just for trying to get to class.

The theater was actually very busy that first night. A friend wrote the screenplay, I was excited. 1/

Another reminder: if there exists *any* class of people who don't have due process rights, then *nobody* actually has due process rights because the government can always just say you're in that class.
Chris Morran@themorrancave.bsky.social · 2mo agoA US-born woman born was confronted by sheriff deputies in Louisiana who were convinced her ID and social security card were fakes. They turned her over to ICE, who shackled her & took her an hour away. Even after a lawyer convinced ICE of the woman's citizenship the sheriff says they did no wrong
My neighbor is hanging out with friends and has opened all their windows. I am tempted to open my window, lean out, and tell him his friend is giving him bad advice.
