Excited to see Fifth Element on the big screen! First for me - one of my favorite movies, but I was just slightly out of age range to have seen it in theaters when it released. I was 11 I think, but was not one we bought tickets for as a family! Frequent rental, though!
I think I finally realized what helps me feel the most connected in social interactions is small (as in fewer people participating) conversations, regardless of depth though I LOVE deep philosophical talks, where all involved are genuinely working to understand one another.

Mac the brown tabby is so goofy. Sometimes he decides one hand is allowed to pet him, but the other is evil and may not go within six inches of him without stinkeye and threat of whapping. He also HATES cell phones. The perils of a traumatized kittenhood. Poor buddy..
Sometimes I'll think back to that time I piped for an open level drummer while I (unknowingly at the time) had a pretty severe case of the flu coming on and the judge cruelly said the competitor needs to find another piper. Guy was an absolute dick.
