Fun fact! Yuuyami Doori Tankentai has (at least) 1967 lines just talking about the heat in summer, including lines about how hot it is, how rough it is to do stuff when it's hot, how hard the heat can be on dogs, and how much the characters want to go to the beach to escape the heat.

It's a simulation game where you raise a group of 7 fairies across different planets, managing various aspects of their lives to help them grow and evolve. It runs correctly in Duckstation and other emulators.
A Yuuyami Doori Tankentai English fan-translation patch is underway. This project will involve a brand new, human (non-AI) translation with an eye for capturing the way that students would naturally speak in the '90s. @dungeonchill.bsky.social Thanks for bringing this game to my attention!
