Absolutely loved Coyote Vs Acme! Funny, charming and adorable all the way through.

www.level5.co.jp/news/20260917/ So the way I interpret this, is that “the reason you hate us using AI is because it makes occasional artistic errors, so we’ll work hard to remove those errors from our promotional material. We’re still using AI though.” Nothing learned, they’ve lost my trust.

It’s disheartening to see how obliviously out of touch Level 5’s CEO Akihiro Hino is regarding the AI backlash. I was really looking forward to the new Layton game, but interest has waned since their last two Vision showcases to the point where I just don’t want to buy their games anymore.
Crazy Direct Prediction: Nintendo Room. A free/cheap online game that simulates a virtual living room across different console eras, that you can decorate with posters from games of the time, set up old systems and play with their boot-up/menu screens. Launching a game will load NSO to play it.
Time for crazy Direct predictions again! Nintendo DS on NSO: only compatible with an official joycon attachment and/or console stand that lets you play with the screen tilted vertically. With a slot-in DS stylus. 3DS games available for Expansion Pack but no 3D functionality.
Coyote Vs. Acme doesn’t launch in Australia until next month. This waiting sucks.
That was fun! Surprisingly, the final Bananza challenge I thought would be hardest was pretty reasonable with the right preparation.
Lots for me to be happy about in the Direct! -Pokopia DLC -DK challenges -Xenoblade upgrades + sequel -Muramasa -Stellar Blade -That silly One Piece game -Fire Emblem -HD2D Final Fantasy -Kingdom Hearts escaping the cloud -Duskbloods -Orbitals -Rayman -Splatoon -Deltarune -OoT A pretty good show!
At the start: “Hey, these DK challenges are a little breezy but they’re a cute, fun way to showcase the NSO library of classics!” After starting the Bananza developer’s timed challenges: “Oh… I see…” Strap in, those challenges can range from tricky to brutal.
Wacky guesses: it’s time for a new Wario Land, or a big new 3D game starring Bowser. Maybe a new NSO system- DS or Wii games. Not sure how they’d be implemented without expensive peripherals… I hope Splatoon and Star Fox don’t take up too much time, we already know enough about those games IMO.
The June direct is the most exciting time of the year! I have no safe bet predictions, all of Nintendo’s popular franchises have been covered on Switch 2 except 3D Mario and Zelda. I’m ready for some wacky surprises. Hoping for Metroid Prime 2 HD and localisation of the Goemon collection.
As someone who has completed #DonkeyKong64 to 100% at least three times, my best advice is to avoid buying any homing or zoom scope upgrades from Funky until after you’ve completed the mechanical fish puzzle in Gloomy Galleon. The scope will prevent you from being able to complete the puzzle!
Stewed for a couple of days, and I can say clearly that the Galaxy movie is the better of the two. The animation and style is superb with quick snappy action that seem better choreographed than the first. Writing was funnier, acting was much better, I heard Mario and Bowser, not Pratt and Black!
Incredible to see Iñaki Godoy and Elmo are both Kaizoku-Fansubs purists. 🏴☠️ youtu.be/h5F_L6dGrTY

Played SENSE 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story 100%, which promised to be a 2.5D Clock Tower like with Fatal Frame elements. Instead it’s more like a point and click full of obtuse puzzles. I love haunted house stories and I see the vision, but quality is wildly inconsistent and I can’t recommend it.
Dear Indie devs: making your audience replay your ~5 hour game *three whole times* just to see the “true ending” is never a good idea.
My lorikeet friends still visit every day, and they bring their babies along to say hi.
Neat, I like the Ferris Grrrol in the back. Will this be: A) A cool new enemy that starts rolling around and attacking the heroes, or B) Shallow “blink and you’ll miss it” background fan service? I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Have any of the Konami KCEK games that stored save data on the N64 Controller Pak been ported to modern systems? Any such games from other publishers? (Not counting Mario Kart) I can only think of a handful of games off the top of my head, and none of them have been re-released.
Finished Mario & Luigi Brothership from my backlog. What a charming game! Beautiful art and animation that captures the feel of the older games. Fun Bros. moves, interesting story with cool villains, even the sidekick and supporting cast are cute and funny. The series lives strong.

I’d probably be the first person to defend Pokemon Legends Z-A, but man is it tough to recommend the DLC. Cool concept of space-time rifts and weird alternate dimensions with new monsters. Cool extra story with deepened lore into the characters’ backstories and the world. But oh, SO. MUCH. RNG.
Annual reminder to charge up all your lesser-used wireless controllers to conserve long-term battery life. Don’t let them sit in storage for months!
It’s just turned midnight where I am! Happy new year to everyone, here’s to a peaceful, happy, safe and prosperous 2026.
Pheeeew! That’s the second time in my life I’ve done this, and I’m not sure I’m keen to go back and do it again. What an incredible game, just as magical and charming as I remember.
Wario World is a fantastic game to come to NSO, but why can we still not play Wario Land 1, 2 or Shake It on modern systems? Is this some kind of Captain Syrup censorship? Give me back my Pirate Queen, Nintendo!
Heads up to American Luigi’s Mansion fans: I sincerely recommend turning on PAL version titles on the GameCube NSO app for this one. The post-game stuff is very different!
