Thanks to @stillots1.bsky.social for sharing her cancer journey. An important observation about both the limbo in which modern medicine puts many of us. I am grateful to be facing that limbo when almost 70 and not when almost 40 or 50. I cannot imagine how one would make career decisions.

15-1: Hamilton City Council votes to prohibit all new data centres in Hamilton for up to two years. Council is using Interim Control Bylaw. The first bylaw is for one year. The next term's Council can vote to extend for an additional year. Second vote, 2-14 against McMaster's data centre #HamOnt

I have no idea the actual shape of the bell curve, but on a curve of responses to stage IV cancer treatments, my oncologist tells me I am riding the rocket! I am hardly an overachiever, but this seems like a particularly good time to be one.

The Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority says the new dock overtop the Randle Reef containment facility is coming into operation. The capping of Randle is a major milestone in getting Hamilton Harbour delisted as an environmentally containment body of water. #yhmcc
