Yesterday, the House passed via discharge petition the Ukraine Support Act. In the absence of House GOP action, House Democrats and a few brave Republicans reaffirmed their support for Ukraine. This bill includes billions in vital assistance to Ukraine and comprehensive anti-Russia sanctions.

Trump's deeply unpopular war in Iran has cost the American people billions. But instead of letting the House vote to end the war, Republicans canceled the vote. Speaker Johnson can't prolong the inevitable and it is time Republicans face up to the reality that this war must end.

Yesterday I spoke in support of passing the ALERT Act - and in support of bringing the ROTOR Act back to the floor for a vote - so that we can stop reacting to tragic accidents and near-misses and instead prevent them from happening in the first place.

Today, I voted with Dems on the House Foreign Affairs Committee to subpoena Marco Rubio, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner to testify on Iran and Ukraine. GOP voted no. House GOP must demand transparency, accountability, and public testimony from this administration. The American people deserve it.

The Trump administration cut State Dept funding to assist on investigating Putin’s war crimes, and just like Marco Rubio, the Undersecretary in charge of those cuts is refusing - under oath - to even say whether or not Putin is a war criminal.

I am disturbed, horrified, and unsurprised with this administration's continued, cruel attacks on science and global health. This is yet another example of the Trump administration playing politics with the health and well being of those who need help. It must stop.
