If I learned anything lately that's worth passing on it's that you should get acquainted with the normal respiratory, temperature and heart rate of your animals. Ollie masks his symptoms so well that checking these values can be a great help to determine what's an emergency.

Update since they are still out, it's been 8 months of two snakes living outside their enclosures (Though they go 'home' for naps ocasionally) and it's been interesting to me. I notice in the warmer months they don't like to sleep near each other, but across the winter they were quite affiliative.

I did a large amount of shelter volunteer 2016-2020, I had to stop because it started making me so depressed after a while. The dogs you spend time with will always hang in your mind and you'll wonder forever where life took them, if they're still around, if they had a good life 🩵
When Ollie and I met in 2018 when I was still volunteering at shelters, I knew he had to come home with us. He couldn't even make eye contact or walk on a leash back then. I hope he has many more years with us.
Ollie is home, which I am so grateful for because throughout the night we really weren't sure which way things might turn. We still don't really have answers but he is stable and resting so at least we have more time to figure things out right now
I'm not good with words but I hope you can all feel my love and appreciation.
Please don't let Ollie join her this soon. I cannot take the thought. Ollie is in ER on oxygen again. His lungs are cloudy which can mean a lot of (bad) things. Less cloudy compared when he had pneumonia last, but it's not good. I have never seen him so sick. I need him, he simply cannot go yet.

Ollie was hospitalized right before we lost Eva and seemed to recover, now he's sick again, he already went to the vet today but he's feeling os unwell. So ready for things to just be boring for a while. I really hope we don't lose Ollie so soon after Eva. I really hope he doesn't have cancer too.

Some 30th I was able to order in July finally showed and we had a nice evening opening them! LOVE that older looking Celebi and so happy I got my own personal favourite (Maushold) on my last pack 🩵 Really love this set. All holos, everything is so beautiful!
I love this common I found in some bulk at a store. The art is so beautiful. I wish common 10 cent cards got more love!

For no reason at all, the 10 Pokemon shinies I like the most Most of them just look cool to me but I love that shiny Stufful looks more like a red panda, and shiny Oinkologne looks like an actual pink pig
