Jon Watts was definitely not who I imagined helming the first Kinberg movie, but hey I love what he did with Skeleton Crew so I can’t complain.
Was watching the bonus material for Mando and Grogu, and Pedro Pascal said something that I think perfectly describes my feelings about this movie (and just SW in general): “This is what keeps our hearts young” Hell. Yes.
Got some non-Star Wars LEGO for a change. Still space related though!
What a picture! Those IMAX shots took my breath away, such a shame that I didn’t get to see it like that in theaters.

The customization in this game feels tailor made for me. Very happy with my zabrak Hawks! Can’t wait to customize more operators.
Unbelievably sad day today, after an already sad week. I’m far from a monarchist, but the King of Norway was a rare exception. He truly was the people’s king, and I feel incredibly lucky to have met him once.
I’ve only gotten through the opening mission in Zero Company, but I’m really loving it so far. The tutorial makes the gameplay very easy to understand, I’m already feeling a lot more confident.
Zero Company is installed, and I’m ready for the frustration of learning turn based combat. The things I do for Star Wars.
Found the original trilogy DVD box set from 2004, including the prequels, on a Facebook marketplace group. And in great condition too! Genuinely feels like I’ve won the lottery. No physical media release has had more of an impact on my life than these beauties.
I love the idea of a more scattered galaxy following the Battle of Exegol. Gives room for a lot of interesting factions to pop up, and allows the Jedi to really grow as an order beyond the confinements of a republic. I can’t wait for Starfighter to introduce us to that world.
I gotta say I’m confused by the negative reactions to Anakin being in Ahsoka S2. In a show about his apprentice becoming a master herself, it should make sense for Anakin to play a part in it, no? Sure, he shows up in a lot of things, but here it makes perfect thematic sense.
I can’t believe we’re seeing New Republic troopers fighting Nightsisters in LIVE ACTION. What a reality to be living in.
Starfighter also looks REALLY promising. The footage doesn’t show much, but it’s enough to get a sense of what they’re going for.
Ahsoka S2 looks unbelievably good. I knew the scale would be bigger, but it’s so much bigger than I expected. What a way to start off the new year!
Of course there’s all this talk of Star Wars trailers dropping tomorrow when I’m at a festival. Can’t wait to watch them drunk out of my mind.
Makes me so fucking happy seeing all the positive first reactions to both Zero Company and Galactic Racer. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this is exactly what Star Wars video games needed.
