Remember that this "deal" is one that Trump's personal lawyer — who is running the Department of Justice like it was invented to serve the president rather than the people — made with the IRS. Otherwise known as self-dealing.

FLAG: Trump gets to keep tax immunity for himself, his sons, and the Trump Organization under the new 'deal' struck by Todd Blanche. The new order also reaffirms that Trump won't have to pay any taxes he might have owed the IRS.

Absolutely not. First of all, not the appropriate role of the Attorney General. Second of all, abortion bans don't stop them from happening. They just make them harder to access, put women's lives at risk, and reduce access to reproductive healthcare for all women.

NEW: Amid AG confirmation battle, Todd Blanche assured anti-abortion activists that he's working to make Dobbs 'permanent in every single state.' Admin will act 'soon' to limit mail-order abortion drugs. w/ @alicemiranda.bsky.social www.politico.com/news/2026/08...

Our systems are under cyberattack and the President of the United States is blaming our state, not our foreign adversaries. This is not acceptable. We need the American president to work on solutions and prevention to protect the American people - regardless of the state they reside in.

Q: Can you rule out that Iran is behind the water attacks? TRUMP: I don't think so. I think that Minnesota is behind it. You know who is behind it? Minnesota. Because they're grossly incompetent. I don't think there was an Iranian cyberattack. I think Minnesota ought to get its act together.

New Trump Tariffs Increase Uncertainty For Small Businesses

The change in tariff policies that went into effect Friday is distinctly worrying for some small firms, but other say it's business as usual.

Health insurance costs have soared. Millions of people lost coverage. SNAP benefits were cut. The ultra-rich got richer. They spent so much time trying to convince people their bill would be good - but the proof is in the pudding. Americans are suffering and they don't care.

President Trump promised his “big, beautiful bill” would supercharge the economy. Critics saw something else: a giant transfer of resources from low-income Americans to the wealthy. One year later, the biggest consequences are still to come.
