Went to see the IMAX release of “Kiki’s Delivery Service”. Haven’t watched it as often as other Ghibli films but every time I do I am always blown away by it. The way Kiki flies her broom using her whole body to swerve and kicking the buildings to climb makes it feel so believable.
The coffee bean shop I go to closed down this month. It’s such a shame because their beans were delicious and affordable. I'm going to savor every single bean until they're gone.
It was fortunate that there was a theater near by that had a screening of the subtitled version of The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act.
Pen button broke. Didn't know it was even possible to break a button on this pen. Happened right after warranty expired too.
A piece drawn for art community May illustration challenge. Topic: “Uniform”.
Recently discovered #plasticity. It is like Fusion360 and Blender + HardOps joined forces. It makes hard surface modeling so much easier and faster. My only wish is that it had dedicated tools for quick kitbashing.
Played around with #Live2D and #VTuberStudio last month. FaceID tracking is more stable compared to webcam tracking but the limited expression parameters ARKit can offer does limit the range of expressions you can achieve. I hope a better expression standard can come along in the near future.
Final week of the #LookBack art exhibit. Very cool to see director notes & storyboards behind the anime short. Seeing physical recreation of rooms and props were pretty cool. I wonder if it was used in the live action adaptation set to release this year.
