I've spun several bags worth of plarn (plastic yarn) and I don't know what to weave it into. Crochet is not an option, as I am terrible at it. Maybe I can card weave belts or similar accessories? I do want to try making cordage.

I'm a potter and overall traditional artist. Late 30s, married, genderfluid, always tinkering away. 18+ Protect Trans Kids!
Guess I didn't share this here. Four grackle! It's painted over generic wall art. It had some leaves on it, so I ran with that idea. I've never seen so many grackle before, I love these scrungly birds. Done with paint markers.
I've been working nights, doing some art when I can. I have not been able to bring myself to do pottery yet, it has not felt right for whatever reason. Here's what I've been up to instead.
🖤✨ Made my very first block stamp prints! I have 2 lil shitty designs so far😅 hoping to get better the more I do it!✨🖤
My husband, our 2 cats, and I are now in our new home at long last, just waiting on our things to get here. The kitties are enjoying having all this space to explore!
I accidentally posted about my own life updates in a reply post, I feel so silly. I need to sleep!
I watched the first episode of The Cat and the Dragon and had to try my hand at Uncle Wing.
My cat range. 2.5 more days til move in, still waiting for the movers to stop ghosting us, the thank you is for everyone at the red roof inn (soon to become a hilton???) I have an interview with walmart on monday.
I've become fascinated by trippy visuals. It's so much fun to draw colorful shapes. I don't know what I will end up doing with these but I like them.
It looks like life will be more expensive than we anticipated. I need to find a day job as *all* of our stuff is stuck in limbo states away. All of my art supplies, digital, clay, traditional, on a truck in Los Angeles for up to 21 days or longer. I'm having a hard time staying positive.
I caved and bought more paint pens, this time sharpie brand brush pen style. I really like them and exploring what I can do with acrylic markers. It has been a fun challenge using limited (for me) art supplies.
11 days left! Aiwaz, myself, and our 2 cats are doing a pretty good job of not driving eachother mad in close quarters.
17 days til escrow closes. At least my bed is full of sleepy kitty beans.
Happy Pride Month! Pride for me isn't just about oneself, it's about the community. Remember to stick up for everyone in our family 🏳️🌈 🎨: @kosperry.bsky.social
The good news is we had our offer accepted, bad news is we have 30 days of escrow before we can move in. But it is happening!
I miss having all my art supplies at my fingertips. I do have a little sketchbook and some different pens so I'm not without anything. I wanna get out there and make stuff again!
Aiwaz, the kitties and I have been staying at a motel while we look for houses, and he works. It has not been easy for any of us, but we have each other, and we will hang in there. No cars just yet either.
Today is the big day! We are flying to Lake Charles! We are as prepared as we are gonna be, and once we find a house we can begin to settle down. I know I can't wait to find my place in Louisiana.
I'm moving to Lake Charles Louisiana next week. May has been a whirlwind of activity. I will miss my ceramic studio job, but I look forward to getting back into full-time art once again. More updates to come!
I'm trying to stay active online. I've gone to a convention for pottery last week that was pretty intense. It did give me fresh motivation to work on keeping my art going. Also I have captured my late cat Bob fairly well so far in this painting. It makes me happy to see his face.
Last day of the #fc2026 dealers Den!!! Let's find a home for this cutie dragon today!!! #fursuitforsale
Last day to buy things at FurtherConfusion2026 On a lark I've put up my display mushroom for sale. You want whimsy? I've got it all. BUY THE FUNGI!!!
My husband and I are ready for FurtherConfusion2026 with lots of shiny trinkets for folks to enjoy. Come check us out at table 97 located in the EAST dealer's room. It's my first time vendoring at FC so I'm super excited. The first con I went to was FC 2008 when I was just 19 years old.
I actually finished some wall hangings this year. I enjoy hitting goals I set for myself. Exploring is nice too, seeing what type of things I want to make and elaborating on what interests me.
Small vessels getting made and trimmed this weekend. I'm alive and working hard for FC
