Started a new project. Thought about how frustrating it was that so many workers are pressured frequently into data scraping esque scams, or sending face photos to malicious third parties under the guise of “making sure they’re real”, and came up with a creative solution.

I was attacked this morning and am ok but screening will be starting today unless we’ve already met. Even if it’s just requiring a 10$ deposit so I have people’s actual names. My life and my son keeping his only parent is infinitely more important than any money I may lose out on because of this.

We’re going to hear about how everyone loved Dolly, and that feels true. But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. She ALWAYS stood firm when it mattered.
