"What scene makes you emotional no matter how many times you’ve seen it?" This movie is a treasure.
Sylvie Willow@sylvieisonline.bsky.social · 4w agoWhat scene makes you emotional no matter how many times you’ve seen it? "I see you, Nimona. And you're not alone."
This is an extremely true summary - I had a blast with this and can't wait for it to drop next month. : )
Bobsession@bobservo.bsky.social · 4w agocool demo alert: Stupid Never Dies is what would happen if Grasshopper made Hades and traded Greek gods for the cast of The Monster Mash (which i'm more invested in). slightly janky and a little too talky at times, but it genuinely made me laugh out loud store.steampowered.com/app/4880100/...
Just got out of a screening of Buddy, and I was absolutely blown away at how inventive and unnerving it is. Highly recommend checking it out before it leaves theaters.
Visited the @square-enix-games.com Cafe this weekend - a really cute little installation with some pleasant drinks and snacks and a lot of cute merch. :)
Our latest experience in the Poppy Playtime universe is real! My team put a ton of work into this premiere moment at the FGS Showcase at Gamescom, and I'm really proud of us. : )

The fact that we never got a Jem and the Holograms fantasy action musical film from Edgar Wright ala Scott Pilgrim will always make me be all

This weekend I screened #PacificRim for a bunch of friends, which has become a bit of a tradition for me at this point for my birthday. I love sharing this movie with people and ranting about how it’s a lovingly crafted sentimental film about how our connections to one another can save the world.
Finally finished Cyberpunk Edgerunners S1 and I am all

One of the best hardware libraries of all time IMO - I loved that lil thang
Hit Save!@hitsave.org · 4mo agoHappy birthday to the Game Boy Advance, which released in the USA on this day in 2001! Can you believe Nintendo's potent little handheld is a quarter-century old this year? We feel old.
There's a lot of misinformation flying around about who is working on The Wolf Among Us 2 and it's really frustrating seeing people make stuff up as part of an 'it's happening!' narrative. : (
The Among Us animated series absolutely rocks - Owen Dennis does not miss.
My team's latest video is live, featuring some stellar voice acting from our two leads of Poppy Playtime Chapter 5. It was a blast working on this and writing in the voice of these characters. : )

As an avid TMNT guy and a huge Platinum Games fan, them handling The Last Ronin game is a match made in heaven for me. : )
This is outstanding news, and something you don't see very often. Supernatural is the best home workout solution out there IMO. I'm so glad to see the devs and coaches able to resurrect this experience, and hoping it means that it comes to other ecosystems so they can bring it to larger audiences.
UploadVR@uploadvr.com · 4mo agoSupernatural is returning under a new independent company, with Meta handing the IP back to the original founders and coaches who are reuniting to carry the VR fitness service forward: www.uploadvr.com/supernatural...
I Heart Boosters is just as wild and creative and full of radical progressive spirit as Sorry To Bother You that I could not praise it enough.
I am seated on the funny leaf day to watch the Wachowski fever dream Speed Racer on IMAX

Dorohedoro is the coolest anime that feels engineered to appeal to aging anime sickos like me who were into the wackadoo grindhouse stuff of the late 80s/early 90s.

Just watched the premiere episodes of Witch Hat Atelier and Daemons of the Shadow Realm and they both were fantastic shows I am instantly invested in. What a hell of a month for anime and it’s just getting started.
Just got out of They Will Kill You, and I cannot rave about it enough. It's Evil Dead by way of John Wick, and I was howling throughout the entire film. Go see it before it leaves theaters, it likely won't be out for long. : )
Perfect moment to encourage folks to avoid bad magic content and instead dip into the leftist epic about empathy and fighting oppressive power structures.
Ready or Not 2 was a laugh riot that had me cackling through the whole runtime. Pretty inessential but still a lot of fun for those who liked the first film.
I have rarely ever successfully baked anything, and this is my first attempt at banana bread. 👀
