No turning back, house closed this AM, dog & cat have their documents, stuff is in storage 'til we cross the border. The mail is being forwarded & the utilities scheduled for shut-off. This week have been an emotional roller-coaster, including 44th anniversary. We persevere... 🥲

The shipping container is in the driveway and we're packing/loading our household "stuff" the big news is; the house is SOLD closing is in a couple of weeks. So packing/loading, get international health certificates for Jagger & Minou. 🙏❤️🤔😱

Started packing the kitchen tonight, while applying principles of Swedish Death Cleaning in the process to reduce the load... never realized how emotionally attached I am to my back-up crepe pan.
Need to find more of these beauties for my camera before our move.
I'm probably one nerve away from buying a dozen lemon decals and painting my 'new' (less than 15,000miles) SUV that is sitting at the dealership service department (again) for the 4th time to have the transmission repaired/replaced in 6 weeks time.
