We’re on the lookout for a new Treasurer at SpotlightYOPD. This is such an important role for us as a small but growing charity. If this might be you — or someone you know — please get in touch or share. 📧 contact@spotlightyopd.org 🗓 Deadline: End of April 2026 #parkinsons #charityrole

Congratulations to the @moversand.bsky.social for getting their Gov petition to over 100,000 signatures. Now let’s see the issues about why Parkinson’s care is so patchy across UK discussed at the highest level. #parkinsons
Please do consider signing this Government petition that calls for better care for people with Parkinson’s. We need 100,000 signatures for it to be debated in Parliament. #parkinsons #neurology www.facebook.com/share/p/15fx...
Day 4 (last day of @rcn.org.uk Congress): lively debates on financial hardships for nursing and care planning. It’s been a great #nursing Congress and had great company from Shona, Mark and Jonathan from the Forum. Think we convinced some nurses that #Neurology was the specialty to be in!!!
Day 3 of the @rcn.org.uk Congress in Liverpool. It’s been an interesting and humbling day listening to nurses who work in Conflict areas, quality improvements, lack of learning disability nurses to name but a few! Mark from the @rcnneuro.bsky.social had a 2nd opportunity to talk on stage too!
Day 2 of the @rcn.org.uk Congress. Met up with fantastic, hard working staff from @parkinsons.org.uk who were giving out vital information on Parkinson’s to other nursing delegates. #parkinsons #rcn2025 @rcnneuro.bsky.social
Proud to be representing the @rcnneuro.bsky.social at the Liverpool RCN Congress, alongside fellow committee members Shona and Mark. Looking forward to be inspired by our fellow nursing professions and meeting up with @parkinsons.org.uk staff at their stand in the Expo area. #RCN2025 #neurology
A breakthrough in #MultipleSystemAtrophy (MSA) research: Dr. Victor Dieriks and his team in NZ have identified that the cause of this neurodegenerative disorder is toxic α-synuclein protein aggregates that invade neuron nuclei. buff.ly/YKLxq6O
