My book stands came in, so now my gaming shelf has reached its ultimate form. For the PS2 games, I decided to put up games from my demo discs that I have finally managed to collect. Easy priority for some videos later. The rest are just fun display pieces that make me happy. ❤️ #blutoid
Against my better judgement, I went straight from Xenoblade to Metaphor. I was initially cold on the demo once I realized how much it was just Persona 5.5 to a frankly comedic degree. But it has already proved to be more tactically and numerically engaging than XBC in 3 hours of play. #blutoid
Xenoblade Final Day: The future has been saved for the time being and fresh breakthroughs have been made in the field of flan making. It was lovely to see them improve the exploration and have it tie into the new super attack, but I still played it the same way. Now to take a break. #blutoid

Overall I liked it. The main story, the huge areas and the music are solid. The gameplay and padding just makes me sad at this point. #blutoid
It has come to my attention that the GOG version of Thief has been updated with the gamepad mod I didn't know existed until now. Doesn't invalidate the upcoming remaster, but playing it with solid controller support feels pretty good. #blutoid

My third and final survival horror video project (for the time being) is naturally the first Resident Evil. Despite not having deep connections to it, I managed to find tons of things to talk about in just this first episode. Went a bit overboard editing, but I think it's justified. #blutoid

Thanks to one @triggerpigking.bsky.social , I got to play Mr. Sleepy Man. While it's essentially a "Best of" collection of 3d Mario platforming ideas, the whole package is a lot more surreal than that. It's a very post-modern and Suda-esque experience that's both cruel and uplifting. #blutoid
After 89 goddamn hours, my co-op run of Nioh has reached 100% in the tutorial. I was a tad mean about the enemy variety in the sequel before, but this is still an exhausting amount of game that feels padded before you even get to the padding. Had a clutch Otakemaru duel though. #blutoid
Did you know that PS2 Spider-Man 2 is the most cursed game in existance? I had to buy THREE COPIES before one worked! I'm long overdue to play this and it's so much to swing around and surrender to the jank. Spidey is a dork, but Black Cat was surprisingly good here. #blutoid

Reminds me too much of Phantasy Star Portable. But whoever greenlit this scale of game on the Wii was a madman! #blutoid
