My view of the F35 Canadian purchases is this. Perhaps the best jets, however, no use if USA decides to disable or not supply. Canada not able to defeat US airpower if it had to. Swedish Gripens can defend against Russia. Can be supplied rapidly in diverse geography. Forget the F35. Buy elsewhere.

Not just because I'm Canadian, but I tend to think there's more honesty and integrity coming from the Canadian side than the American. Why? The track record of the American administration with its lies and deception is colossal.
