HAPPY 40TH ANNIVERSARY METROID!! I drew Samus and created this wallpaper to celebrate the series! All the lines of text are quotes from the different games, I hope reading them feels a bit nostalgic. Feel free to use this as a wallpaper!

I like these Japanese holidays that are just an excuse to draw anime girls in particular outfits. I think they should do more of them. Some suggestions: -Pirate Hat Day -Oversized Hoodie Day -Novelty Groucho Marx Glasses Day -That Stupid White & Gold Or Black & Blue Dress Day -Too Many Arms Day

Random thought, but a common experience I've heard from other "gifted kids" is that constantly being told we were so smart kinda psychologically fucked us up. I feel like this is relevant to the ai psychosis epidemic. A bunch of adults suddenly getting the "gifted kid" experience from a computer.

The funny thing about everyone saying "How hard could it be to have Mahershala Ali put on shades and kill vampires for 2 hours?" is that I bet that's exactly what Marvel was thinking when they announced him as Blade without a solid plan in place.

Releasing unreleased games from old consoles is such a cool thing and I wish it happened more. Give me N64 Kirby's Air Ride. Give me Project HAMMER. Give me Sonic X-Treme. I don't care if they're good, I don't EXPECT them to be, I just appreciate the novelty of experiencing games that never were.

DEATH BATTLE: Emi from Denshattack vs Sabin from Final Fantasy VI Is there a train that he can't suplex? Alternatively, Emi from Denshattack vs EMMI from Metroid Dread

Splatoon 4 should have playable Salmonids, but instead of making them cute kids to match the Inklings like they did with the Octolings, they should stay weird freaks like this.

An Inkling with a Salmonid head

I always knew Shiver and Frye were called that because those are the collective nouns for sharks and eels But I somehow only just realized, it's also because like... you shiver when it's cold, and you fry when it's hot. And cold and hot reflect both their personalities and color schemes.
