Nicole Bedera@nbedera.bsky.social · 5mo agoFascinating new study about men’s friendships. There’s a lot of evidence here that the “male loneliness crisis” is actually a white, wealthy man problem. Other men are building friendships with similar depth to women’s friendships.

It’s because the goal is not safety but policing, and that has more to do with control than anything else. Groups of people gathering, the very basis of community, is by default seen as suspicious. That’s why their preferred designs all have to do with limiting human interactions.

You cannot help but see the parallels really. Minus the uniform color and background, this could be Palestine‘s west bank, Egypt, Germany… (insert country).
