I used to give workshops on art & animation fundamentals at a university, but the workshop that students actually found the most useful by far was one where I taught people how to set small, actionable goals so they could decide on a direction they wanted to go in and improve on their own. [1/9]

Whenever I draw in public, someone always says, “Wow! Did you draw that freehand?” and that always confused me SO much because how else would you draw?? What other way IS there than freehand? Now that all these AI tracers are posting their “process” videos, I finally understand the question.. 😓
