The “value” of items is so temporary. People’s interests fade. Pokemon cards are worth a lot now but when I was a kid in the 90s they were cheap. I paid insane prices for Kpop merch 10 years ago and half of it isn’t worth anything at all now. Just enjoy things. We’re not meant to live in museums.

I think we need to start a larger conversation about addiction in relation to AI chatbots. I think they’re very dangerous because they’re constant dopamine hits and unquestionable validation. It won’t challenge you. It won’t push you. It feeds you want you to hear and that’s very, very dangerous.
