i’m happy to say that i’m 9 months sober from alcohol. i struggled with substance abuse since high school and the chaos and bustle of life on the road as a pro wrestler unfortunately aggravated my addiction.

have you been watching AEW? it's been pretty damn gay for a long while. i mean, look at kyle and takeshita. it's pretty much an angry break up. not to mention, EVERYTHING involving toni storm.

the unfortunate reality is that pro wrestling will never fully reach its true potential as the campiest most absurd form of slapstick entertainment as long as the people dominating the industry are straight athletic theater kids who are terrified of being perceived as even a little gay.

i miss being in the ring but i’m slowly falling into a routine of helping out in my local queer community via mutual aid and outreach efforts. i never got the chance to just be aveline since i transitioned in such a public way. it’s nice to spend these days discovering who i am outside of bandit.
