What breaks my heart this week? Former students, loving young moms, asking me to sign papers saying that I could take care of their baby and help them reunite if they get deported. 💔 I hate that this is real.

Interesting to read the cited article - journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.... - which is builds on one of my favourite articles (Yosso, 2005) that sets out those six "wealths" and gave me such a lot to think about in terms of minoritised groups as sources of expertise rather than just needing help.
