So nice of many of you2ask about Maverick, our next-door neighbor. Sadly, after we left X he got outside &was viciously attacked by a coyote. He somehow got away, but was seriously injured&did not survive his injuries. He died May 1, 2025. Miss r friend 😿 Kept waiting but he never came back.

MAMAS BOY:Meet Alika (Ah-Lee-Kah) my 5 year-old, Turkish Van whiny brother. He’s annoying. ALWAYS w/ Mom. Dad says he’s her Secret Service agent. Fits because his name means protector. Sometimes we hunt 4lizards together. But I like to smack him. He used to walk away, but now he smacks me back! 😾

HISTORY: Kayla Ke’alani 😺 aka Big Mama was rescued from a hoarder’s 🏠 w/over 100 cats. Not fixed so probably had multiple litters, which is why vet said she ended up w/breast cancer&died January 2024. She adored Kanani. She tolerated me 😹 she was very sweet, kind, gentle, loving. 
HISTORY: Kanani. Abused&abandoned TurkishVan rescued by Mom. They had a deep bond. Survived 2 major strokes. Mom rehabbed her when others probably would’ve given up on her. She was Mom sunshine ☀️ died Dec 2022. Mom mess but KekoaKrew was there4her. She’ll never forget that! 
HISTORY: If reviewing history, can’t leave out “the girls”. The girls were here when I arrived at the castle. Kanani had traumatic background. I could tell she was the BELOVED. After Kimo died, she had a hard time w/loss so Mom adopted Kayla. They were inseparable. Best friends. Sisters to the end.
Some asking, what happened2Ava? Pancreatitis. Meds. Better. Worse.Hospitalized. Released. Re-hospitalized. Home. ER visit. Home. Ultrasound nx day&never came 🏠. Lrg leaky abscess ready2burst. Horrific pain. Needed fentanyl drip. 20k for surgery with no guarantees. Suspected cancer. Gone by noon. 
HISTORY: Speaking of Ava, I guess I’ll introduce her2new followers. Mom was looking4a new girl when her beloved Kanani died&my sister Kayla was battling cancer. Ava came 1 mo after Kayla died. She was bossy w/a sailor mouth who thought she was QueenBee&owned castle. We did NOT get along! NO GIRLS!
UPDATE: super excited to meet new friends, but I know I have old friends here as well who knew my sassy sister Ava. Yes it’s true. Ava passed away last year right after her birthday, but she never got to celebrate it because she was in the hospital. Sudden and unexpected. Mom still sad about it. 
HISTORY: This is Jonah. He was at castle when I arrived. He had medical prob, but parents took care of him until he died May 2018. He followed me around, so his name was shadow. He was a sweet boy& wanted2beverybody’s friend. When he was gone, I was left w/the girls. I’ll introduce them next. 
NAMESAKE: This is Kimo. He was parents’ first ginger. When mom saw me, she thought of Kimo. When I got adopted, dad said I should be Kimo Jr. instead of Jr, I was given the name, Kimo (Hawaiian for James)Kekona (the 2nd) Kekoa (adventurous warrior). They just call me Kekoa or Koa 😺
