Finally starting to feel better. Sinus pressure and brain fog was so bad the last couple days, I forgot what it was like to be able to think. ...ok, that's enough thinking for today :P

Not 100% sure what I'm doing with this corner behind my desk, but it's sorta coming together. It's weird how inexperienced I am at organizing my own space. Anywhere I lived was always tiny, and everyone in my family had hoarder tendencies, so there wasn't really "my" space.

Sometimes I get complacent about how most programs take auto-saves these days, but it still only takes <ctrl-s> one crash <ctrl-s> to trigger my <ctrl-s> compul<ctrl-s>sive file save <ctrl-s> reflex when <ctrl-s> I'm <ctrl-s> editing. <ctrl-s> ....<ctrl-s><ctrl-s><ctrl-s>

Working on edits, and I often find myself comparing two ideas Namely, if I were the person who bought this: "how would I edit this into a movie I'd like" vs "how would I edit this to make me horny?" And, idk, but it's interesting to me how different those answers mostly are, but sometimes similar

Well, looks like my bench press tops out right around 75lbs 😅 It's a far cry from my old pre-E PR of 225lbs, but not a bad place to start from again These days I mostly just want to be in good enough physical shape to reduce the risk of injury/strain/cramps during... hobbies... 👀

Guess who can keep its knees straight, bend over, and put its palms on the floor again, for the first time in like... 20 years? ^-^

Getting caught up on some stuff today after an absurdly long Saturday (think I was up for at least 20hrs or more), and trying to avoid melting in the heat just long enough to do some yard work and plumbing in the kitchen over the weekend 😅

I never really think about shower spray patterns, they're usually all pretty uncomfortable... But the new one has this super fine mist spray, like fog! It's so diffuse I don't feel overstimulated and sad by the time I'm done! It's actually nice! ...is this how other people feel after they shower?

You know one of the best parts of living in a real house-sized house with actual rooms and hallways and stuff is? I get to set up shots like this:

So hot outside... good day to stay indoors and spend a little time beveling and burnishing the strap on a ballgag. I used it last weekend and there was a rough edge that cut the corner of my mouth >_< (and this sorta thing is why it's worth it to pay up for quality gear from real craftspeople)

A friend just gave me this super cool Diablo stein! ngl, always kinda wanted a stein, but hadn't found one that fit the vibe. I think this more than qualifies ^-^

Me: ugh, it's gonna be super hot and humid again today... maybe I won't wear arm warmers for a change *noticing how noticeably bruised my wrists are from filming on Monday* Me: ...or some lightweight long sleeves are good, too.

Not sure why I picked literally the hottest day of the year so far to start filming again... and with a full office fit, to boot! 🥵 Pretty sure we can all agree it was worth it, though. Have a peek and judge for yourself :3

I bought this really nice old trunk / crate at a pop-up vintage market the other day. It's even bigger than my steamer trunk! Not sure what I'm gonna put in it, though... it's really sturdy, it's a shame to leave it empty... any suggestions? 👀

Still kicking and still getting things settled at home... including the new crab tank! 200lbs+ of sand and coconut fiber, 60w heating, 1 gallon fresh and 3 gallons saltwater. Been through 4 tanks, 3 houses, and 10yrs with this little dude so far, and ready to see how the next 10yrs play out ^-^

Why settle for the two power outlets built into your desk when you have access to surplus server equipment and zipties?

Bought an old set of Yamaha speakers for my new desk. Said "tested" but didn't come with the adapter. ...which turned out to be some goofy plug my universal wouldn't fit. Tore apart a junked chromebook, hit the soldering station, and made an aux cable. Not pretty, but they thump pretty good now :3

New desk, who dis? I'm pretty hyped, this is my first time owning a real desk! This should make one heck of an editing station once I'm done setting things up :3
