Finally, after a month or so of work, I'm ready to post these! The Branch project has been my focus for a while now, and people have had a lot of questions about them. Hopefully these answer some and can tide people over before I can put the style sheets together.

The first page of a story sheet. The left half of the sheet is taken up by a group picture of four anthro characters. The header reads "Branches." The subtitles below the header read "Singular: Branch" and "Created by MostlySilent." Below the header are two sections. The first section has the header "Overview" and further reads "Branches are technorganic beings that were created by the now defunct corporation Modular Ontology Enterprise - or MOE. These beings blur the line between technology and biology, originally not even being defined as living organisms. They were created explicitly as a servant race for a multitude of purposes by MOE, eventually taking over a majority of jobs within the company itself; while being leased out to other corporations or individuals. Branches come in a wide variety of forms, although they are typically anthroid in body plan. As such, they are commonly classified by their governing function, which is displayed in a prominent location on the body - generally the chest. As detailed by MOE in internal documents, the mind of each Branch was created from a Source: brain scans of unwitting customers who had an MOE brain-computer interface implanted. These scans were ostensibly legal to take and use - the corporation's finely worded terms of service ensured that - but this eventual discovery would invariably lead to the dissolution of Modular Ontology Enterprise and the current state of Branches in society today." The second section has the header "Additional Context" and continues "Modular Ontology Enterprise was already a successful corporation before they created the Branch project. Prior to this, they made a variety of implants and augments that allowed customers to rework their own appearances and add additional functionality to their bodies.
