hi, I'm kit, professional procrastinator, hypothetical human, and chronically online cryptid. allegedly musician and writer. opted out of reality. I don't talk much […] 🌉 bridged from ⁂ https://m.tripulse.link/@kit, follow @ap.brid.gy to interact

proofreading my book now and it has only just struck me that I named the protagonist of my next book the same thing as the big bad in this one, just with different vowels. farryn and ferran. I'm a hack, I'm a fraud (I love it actually, it's very funny)

thinking it might be nice to eventually find a vgen invite code and set up an artist page on there so I can provide Writing Services once I have a portfolio and also maybe some audio stuff too. I can still mix audio good, even if I can't seem to compose music anymore for reasons unknowable

you know those claims that a cat's purr induces physiological healing in humans? that's nonsense fake not real bad info however, a cat's purr does help the cat a lot. my cat had a rumbly tummy and didn't want to eat, so I held her and petted her and it went away and she ate love your pets

one of the fastest ways to turn me off your game is to say it has roguelike elements another one of the fastest ways to turn me off your game is if I open the menu and see percentage modifiers and "synergy" but those are just the same thing half the time these days, aren't they?

I had to factory reset my eink tablet because I needed to switch to a different extension repo in the manga reader app but then the new source extensions wouldn't install and the only solution was factory reset interestingly this is the least frustrating tech thing to happen to me in the past month

what if a zombie story, except it's not the apocalypse, it's literally just one zombie. a single dead person crawled out of the ground and actually they're just really happy about it with zero conflict and nothing bad happens because they simply love life

you know what sucks big eggs? having a story idea where the entire first act and the entire last act are extremely clear in my mind, maybe even some of the second act is clear too, but for the third act I've got nothing

there are people who legitimately believe that nintendo online is good value for money these people confuse me greatly I don't care how much you enjoy the experience of flicking through some old games that you don't own, a mandatory subscription for online play can never be good value

from the quoted post, I have three interested people. a group of four seems too small to sustain though, so consider this a reminder that I'm still gauging interest. check the quoted post, let me know if you'd consider joining. I'm dropping the video games part though, that can be separate I […]

anybody want to do some sort of book club type of thing with me? it could be books, it could be manga, it could be music, it could be video games, or it could be any combination of these things. let's all pick a thing to do then meet up every week to talk about how we liked that thing

youtube really wants me to watch a six hour long video about gamergate written by a guy who prides himself on being apolitical while frequently misrepresenting facts to serve that facade while projecting that all gamers were and are always normal and correct dudes who did nothing wrong, doesn't it

if you could become a fictional character in real life, who would it be? bear in mind that you still exist in the real world afterwards. you can imagine a world without capitalism if it helps, but you're still going to be surrounded primarily by humans, so keep that in mind with your choice

mustang guy has been idling in the parking lot for THREE HOURS. guy must have burned five gallons of gas just sitting there the fact that nobody has done anything about this genuinely has me starting to believe that I live in a simulation designed to torture me specifically

sometimes I wish I didn't have a tongue not because I have a problem with tasting things, or even because I don't like talking. it's just because having a tongue is really annoying when you also have sharp teeth biting it only happens very rarely, yet my tongue is in constant pain regardless

have you ever wondered why they make those anime characters have mouths with that open-mouthed smile where the upper lip is curved so much that the mouth practically forms a perfect circle? like that's not what smiling is. why did they evolve like that. who is responsible for this

someone has parked outside my window with what sounds and feels like a 5000 horsepower drag racing big block. it's a 70s charger, so it very well might be something like that instead of just another regular car with no exhaust on it as usual but even if it's cool, it's not cool outside my bedroom
