the price of a steam machine (~1040€) decided to see if I could build a PC around the same type of ballpark from a couple locally trusted PC part sellers here. It's more limited and a little more expensive, but local or not, overall it's bad. The current PC part market is broken because of AI. :(

the performance restricted group instances are great, but if it's my personal choice to show someone's Avatar, then i should be allowed to do so. placing users local choice below the instances restrictions should not be a thing. allowing such does not defeat the purpose of the feature.

Looking alternatives that preferably are open source and has possibility to self-host if needed. ran on this one> fluxer.app becomed sus on how kinda just too good it seems and ticked all the boxes way too well. am i missing something, like is there negative for migrating small groups to use this?
