I sometimes wonder how often other artists randomly stop drawing for an extended period of time and why? Last time I did it in 2023 I stopped drawing for a year and I'm not even sure why — maybe I was overwhelmed by life — but it was interesting returning to a dusty tablet.

This feels too on the nose since I just finished a 32-page comic. My first comic was 16-pages and ngl even that was humbling... but on hindsight, I'm glad that was my guinea pig because I was able to tackle my perfectionism and let me work a lot faster
