Really failing to mask lately but I struggle to engage with people who see sega era Puyo as completely soulless because while it's true that it's mostly homogenized I feel like we can talk about the writing on its own terms instead of saying "it's more corporate" and acting like that's an analysis

Well it's funny I'm thinking about this because objectively my visual art + writing are both mediocre and I rarely say anything of value , but I like thinking about art and argumentation. I wish people's reasoning felt more complex and not like they were justifying it after the fact
I really don't think predictability should be the metric by which you measure whether or not a story is good
this is just for me to have a sense of accomplishment but i finished doing my first TLs of one of the more difficult chapters to translate in dialog and just need to finish the two appendices and typeset the pictures.
