Mystic Remora hand painted after M.C. Escher's 1955 lithograph 'Three Worlds'.
Hellboy alters hand painted after the one, the only Mike Mignola.
Damnation hand painted after Hieronymus Bosch's 'The Garden of Earthly Delights'.
My favorite Command Tower I painted. Been pondering other ideas for the card.
Sol Ring hand painted after Isoda Koryusai's woodblock print 'Crane, Waves and Rising Sun'.
Might be my favorite card printed in a while. Welcome back Putrid Leech!
6-3'd my first Hobbit draft with a sweet mono-Black deck. Then 7-1'd with what I thought was a mediocre UG list, but Beorn hard carried.
One of my lovely patrons shared this nice group photo of some of my art history pieces. I don't keep close track as to who has what. I have a rough idea but work changes hands from time to time. It's cool to see all these together. :)
Not all canvases are created equal. Working on a card printed in '95 today, and that thirty-year-old cardstock is just *chef's kiss*
Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.
Hand painted Timetwister (referencing Mark Tedin's Time Vault character).
I was browsing my phone before bed one night, thinking about alter concepts, and I stumbled upon this Sargent piece ‘Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose’. I immediately ordered a Chromatic Lantern. I love when ideas seemingly fall into my lap.
7-0 🏆 Really like Planar Cube as a concept, but like most Arena cubes my primarily critiscm is curation. Too many generically good cards, power outliers, and unplayables. Obviously still fun when you’re winning.
