As an Australian, I now need to provide a face scan for social media, a driver's licence for a skateboard, and a credit card for age verification. This year is going great.

I guess I have two weeks to replay Deltarune so I can get that one item I missed in chapter 1.
I've been gradually uploading old art to Pixiv, including some unposted stuff. I might make it my main gallery going forward. You can find me there at users/7481953
Working on getting set up on Pixiv. Just need to figure out these esoteric censoring requirements.
I really need to be quicker with drawing. I take so long and get so caught up in perfectionism that I lose track of what I've done and just end up hating where I'm at.
Finally got around to watching Daima. It's like an alternate take on what GT could have been. I liked it a lot!
Here's my spoiler-free grades for Stranger Things by season: A, B, B-, A, C.
This year, I want to be more present. I want to put more stuff out there, collaborate more, do more stuff with more people. I don't know how, but some version of that is my goal.
Australia's social media ban is bad and dumb, but I'm seeing arguments that it's extra bad because it excludes Discord and Roblox, which is also dumb. That's an instant messenger and a game platform. They're not social media. These are different things. You don't want the scope expanded here.
3D is bloody hard. At least now I can wear my own skin in VR. (I don't actually know if my VR even works anymore).
Youtube's AI summaries are one of the most pointless features I've ever seen. It assumes that not only am I not there to actually watch the video, I also don't want to read the description of the video.
I thought looking at how TPLO surgery is done would make me feel more confident. It did not. The success rates are high but it seems like such an extreme thing to do to a dog. Straight up body horror stuff.
Played through Diablo 4 with friends. Compared to 3, the aesthetics and story have improved, but the sense of progression is maybe the weakest of the whole series. D3 at least had an arcadey-ness to it that could have worked without the Diablo branding.
From 2013, "Halloween vs Me-Mow". Real old, but I used to see this one pop up randomly around the internet. With attribution too, which is always nice to see! #art #fanart #adventuretime
When Undertale came out, I was at a point where the best I could do was pretend to enjoy things so I don't bring other people down. It cut through that cynicism with laughs, empathy, and intrigue. It was the support I needed to get my hope back.
Squid Game! I liked it; lots of good characters and early twists, but they didn't catch lightning in that bottle twice. As with the first season, it was a mixed bag towards the end, albeit in different ways. Splitting into 3 seasons was a horrible mistake.
Even if retroactive fees were never a threat, this right here is why I need to move on from Unity. Over a billion dollars in acquisitions but basic features have support like they're demo disks from 2001.
Wowee! I got really popular on the other site during my absence!
My ability to draw really ebbs and flows. Three weeks ago, I was happy with the progress I was making. This week, it's like I've jumped back ten years.
I have caught up on Deltarune. I think it was wise to bundle Chapter 3 and 4 together...I could see complaints if there was a nebulous wait between them. Very much had a good time! It's left me more invested than I was after either of the other releases. Now we wait.
I'm so pleased with RakkaRakka. It's really satisfying when success reaches people who chased their dreams to earn it.
I finally got around to watching I Saw The TV Glow. Not at all what I expected but it's been a hot minute since a movie scared me like that. It's unusual enough to not be an easy recommend but I'm glad I saw it.
