It was so nice to go into the University today and have a dedicated (very quiet!) space to work on our journal resubmission. I got the resubmission finished and got some reading done too 🙌

Happy Autistic Pride day everyone! What are you feeling proud of today? I am proud of my growth over the last five years. How I have come to understand myself and where I fit into the world. How I want to fit into the world. Reconnecting to myself and what I want from life.

This was such an brilliant and wholesome event last year and I look forward to this year. There is still time to apply to speak, share, lead a workshop or do something completely different. Applicants do not need to be working in academia.

The "to do" list this month: Find your people and keep them close - no matter how far between you. Instead of trying to force connections closer to me geographically, I commit to those greater connections elsewhere. Colleagues up north, over the pond, down under and all the places in between.

Pink handwriting on a white year planner. On the paper are black lines and a title of "To do". My pink handwriting reads: Find your people and keep them close - no matter how far between you.
