It is inappropriate for art museums to allow shoppers to glorify themselves and boost their collex's value with exhibitions such as this. It is a plain violation of norms, at minimum. This story allows SFMOMA director Chris Bedford to embarrass himself, but treats the practice as routine. It isn't.
