MN native trying like hell to be a good husband, father, ally, citizen, and steward. Here for politics, justice, D&D, movies, music, Tolkien talk, and other detritus. Hopeless dabbler. Cat person, but my dog has won me over. He/him.

I've been married and I've been divorced. I have kids. I've reprimanded and I've been laid off. I've been in heated arguments and physical altercations and stressful situations 1000s of times. But I never knew nervous perspiration until I started playing Blitz Chess online.

At the time of the deal that created this Nasdaq-listed joint venture, partner Hut 8 Inc. bought World Liberty tokens. Eric Trump also got a stake in American Bitcoin, at no cost.

A company controlled by Donald Trump’s revocable trust is entitled to 75% of net revenue from token sales by World Liberty Financial.

Donald Trump licensed his name and image to a company called Celebration Cards LLC, which raised enormous sums selling the digital token.

The Nasdaq-listed company, recently renamed AI Financial Corp., raised money from investors to buy World Liberty Financial tokens.

we have a republican trifecta government and this is what they have delivered to us. put your petty fucking bullshit beefs aside and loudly blame who is responsible for what fucking ails you, or, if you can’t help yourself, shut the entire fuck up.

Leaving aside the question of general strikes, her posture towards Dems seems to be combative rather than transformative. And more basically, you don't hire a boxer to do your taxes. I have been a fan of her journalism and media criticism, but her candidacy has started to leave me cold.

I actually agree that a major problem with legislators is that they tend to ignore the immense amount of soft power they can potentially exercise. That’s correct. But, uh, general strikes aren’t where that soft power lies.

Saw Blue Velvet (1986) in a creepy old theater build in 1935 that would not have been out of place in the movie. Took my kids to see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) which was an event - it was first time they had ever had to stand in a block-long line to see a movie.

Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine: Transformers: The Movie (1986) Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) Office Space (1999)
