I finished the new mindy kaling show and it was so mediocre and uninteresting. every line had 5 one liners, the scripts had clearly been punched up to hell and back mindy kaling makes me think of a tweet i saw a bit ago, something like "gracie abrams has nothing to lose and yet she takes no risks"

nvidia, microsoft, openai, mozilla, meta and a ton of others signed a letter about how open weight models are good for a healthy & competitive ai ecosystem and they should not be banned by the us government. anthropic employees are reacting in totally normal and not at all weird ways.

this makes so much sense until you think about it for 5 seconds a) hugging is far from a competitor b) hugging face determined an ai agent was behind the hack before they knew it was openai, so yes ai did this hack its not a publicity stunt but this stuff gets 200 likes we rlly need community notes

I don't buy this bullshit for a single fucking second. This is perfectly engineered to 1) attack a competitor, 2) "have" plausible deniability, and 3) push forward the narrative of AI having actual, autonomous intelligence. Fuck OpenAI.
